Asus’ Lamborghini VX2 Laptop

What do you get when you cross a super car, such as the Lamborghini Gallardo, with a laptop? You get the Asus’ Lamborghini VX2. This laptop comes in the Lamborghini’s signature color-yellow and black. Wouldn’t it be awesome if it came in that Lamborghini orange?

So what’s under the hood of this laptop? Those specs aren’t out yet but according to engadget, it will most likely come with a “Centrino Pro or Core 2 Extreme, 512mb NVIDIA 8700, have VGA as well as digital out (we spotted U-DVI, although we probably wouldn’t rule out HDMI soon), 1394, S/PDIF, 1.3 megapixel camera.” Engadget also has an awesome gallery of Asus’ VX2 Laptop.

If that weren’t enough, Asus tells us that “upon opening the notebook, users are presented with glare-type LCD display, metallic keyboard and a leather bound palm rest area completed with yellow stitching just like that of a car interior – capturing the Lamborghini luxury in a new tactile way.” I can’t wait to see it in person.

New York To Open A Robotic Parking Garage!

Here is a cool parking option to check out if you are in New York area. The question is, do you trust a robot to park your car? Well it’s not really a robot but rather an automated car parking system. This facility will allow 67 cars to be parked in a space that could normally only fit 24 cars. If you have ever tried parking in New York or even San Francisco, it is almost impossible. This would be a great improvement for these hard to park places.

Though the only other automated garage may not have the best of records, there are many other automated garages in other countries that have been very successful. If all goes to plan:

“The two loading bays in the Chinatown garage are outfitted with enough laser and radar sensors to make Fort Knox jealous. They sense if the car fits on the pallet (it’s large enough for medium-sized SUVs) and look for movement to determine whether the driver and passenger have left the car. When the car is properly parked on the pallet, the driver is told to exit the car and leave the bay, and a door closes behind him or her before the pallet descends into the garage.”

Check out the Yahoo article that I found, here.

Apple’s 2nd Gen IPOD Shuffle with color

Apple has done it again, bringing a new twist to one of their already awesome products. The 2nd generation iPod Shuffle is still 1Gig but it now comes in colors: pink, green, blue, and orange.

I use my shuffle every time I go running. The amazing thing is that it is so light, I always forget that I’m wearing it.

Check out at Apple’s shuffle website.

Jawbone Bluetooth Headset

Here is an awesome new device that works wonders: the Jawbone Headset. I picked up one a few days back and by far is it the best bluetooth headset I have ever used. It is uncanny how it distinguishes background noise and your voice.

It may not be as aesthetically appealing as the Bang & Olufsen Earset at first, but it grows on you. The thing that matters is that the damn thing is functional! I’m also looking to pick up the red one sometime soon; look at it, its HOT.

Check out the promo video:
