Cubisto Frames

Cubisto, the first modular, 3-D framing system. Its unique design suspends 3-D objects between two pliable, transparent films, creating the illusion the object is floating for a stunning visual display.

My favorite part of the frame is that they stack together just like those old Lego sets you had or still have when you were younger. So you get the characteristics of your younger days with ability of showcasing your new toys/collectables. Retro goes new age.

I got mine at Urban Outfitters.

Converse “Chuck Taylors (Chucks)” have been a staple icon for many people over the years and now it is your chance to make them your own. Mood Beams

Here is a cool little toy that I picked up at Sharper Image yesterday. Remember back in the day, when mood rings were popular, here is the new thing. It’s called Mood Beams. Mood Beams are collectable characters that show you how THEY feel with light. You can choose the mood that’s right for you and watch the five different colorful light shows: rainbow, strobe, color dance, and color hold. Sorry guys, you won’t be able to tell if the girl is hot for you, but I’m sure they will get a kick out of these.

Here is a pic of mine–

Johan Potma: between marketing and idealism

Johan Potma is an awesome Dutch artist with a very unique artistic. “His work is very much based around characters. Strange but endearing fantasy creatures with human and animalistic features.”

I found his art intriguing. You can check out some of his work at the Canvas Café in San Francisco and even purchase some of it if you have the funds.

Here are a few prints.
